Signs of Spring

It feels ironic to write about "signs of spring" since there is a fresh carpet of snow on the playground and the kids are all still bundled up in snowsuits and boots.  However, this is Montana and crazy weather is a sure sign of spring!  We asked the children and the teachers what signs of spring they have seen so far this year.  Here is what we have come up with!

Parent's Night is a sure sign of spring!

Robins are a sure sign of spring!

A visit from the Easter Bunny and an Egg hunt (in fresh, wet snow) are sure signs of spring!

Chicks are a sure sign of spring!

Kindergarten Egg Drop

The annual egg drop is a beloved event all of our students look forward too, especially the Kindergartners.  This year Ivy, Stella, Holden, Kellen, Radd, Sawyer, Ameila, Liza, Addison and Sienna had the opportunity to drop their own egg contraptions from the upstairs classroom window.  Some of these students have been watching the egg drop for three years, waiting patiently for their own turn. Well their time has come and the egg drop was a big success.
