Chilly fall weather is coming and it is time to pick the zucchinis from our garden. What a perfect opportunity to get to appreciate this lovely vegetable. Today the children got the chance to pick, observe, draw, and EAT a zucchini that we planted at the start of the summer. We have really come to appreciate the zucchini, with the "tiny yellow seeds" on the inside and the "dark green with yellow stripes" on the outside. Something else we came to appreciate is the tastiness of the veggie. According to Kell "It tastes very good good good!"
